Victoria has been working at Pinnacle for just over 2 years. Within that time, she has progressed in her role overseeing the educational design team.
Before Pinnacle, Victoria worked at a small architecture firm for 3 and a half years focusing on educational practises and new builds. At the firm, Victoria began using Revit and developing her skills in technical design and worked with Project Managers in the construction industry.
When Victoria joined us at Pinnacle, she was responsible for creating the TeacherWall system that are frequently used within our projects for their flexible storage facilities and highly customisable design. Now in her new role, Victoria also ensures her team understand their work schedule in order for projects to be completed on time and at an exceptional standard. She also liaises with external contractors and consultants onsite and at design meetings to make sure communication is met across all stakeholders.
Within her role, Victoria focuses on how to improve and develop technical drawings, assess how a design can work within a space and how feasible it is to produce all furniture required for site. With BIM being an integral part of the FF&E process, Victoria supervises the setup of BIM, the progress and procedures of design and how the advancement in 3D modelling can link and share across all layers and architects.
Outside of work, Victoria likes to keep her design skills in practise as she enjoys DIY projects around the house. She also enjoys scenic walks, going out in her canoe and frequently attending classes at the gym. But her real passion is her customised taxi which she is thinking of transforming into a camper van! Overall, Victoria says her favourite part of her job is working with a team to see a project progress from initial stages to completion. Pinnacle are pleased to help Victoria progress in her career and are excited for future developments in technical design.
