Pinnacle are proud to announce our project with NMiTE: New Model in Technology and Engineering in Hereford. Once it has completed the extensive approval processes required for higher education in the UK, NMiTE is set to become the UK’s first wholly new provider of engineering higher education in over 40 years and is backed by government, educators and industry. NMiTE proposed programme will offer a unique curriculum allowing future students to work on real-world engineering challenges and with organisations that are essential to Britain’s engineering industry and global development. NMiTE will also seek to welcome future graduates back after their course is finished for further reskilling in their field.
As experts in designing and delivering inspiring learning environments, Pinnacle were chosen to refurbish their first studio, quiet study area and social breakout space. The studio has multiple functions, including collaboration task tables, large mobile whiteboard walls to divide the space and a whiteboard finished Storagewall for practical storage and media facilities.
With the planned delivery of learning and teaching in multiple sprints lasting from 5 days to 3.5 weeks, being able to provide flexibility between individual, collaborative and practical study and the ability to present to the class cohort will be key.
We are very excited for Pinnacle to be involved in the new developments in the higher education sector. We are looking forward to seeing how NMiTE will transform higher engineering education in the UK through the power of creative learning environments that support academic success!
