Immanuel College
Immanuel College appointed Pinnacle Furniture to refurbish the changing rooms and washrooms for their students and staff. The school had fundraised £100,000 for this project and we worked closely with them to ensure that the costs didn’t exceed the budget.
The Brief
Immanuel College is an independent Jewish day school situated in Hertfordshire, for children aged 4-18. During the tendering process, Pinnacle Furniture were presented with a detailed architectural drawing and specification in order to create the designs for each area. The college had a set budget of £100,000 to use for the project, and the Design and Project Management Team had to carefully review all the specification and costs to ensure that the project was kept within the budget.
There were various areas involved including male and female student changing and shower rooms, male and female student washrooms and washrooms with showers for the staff. The client was keen for the space to look clean and fresh.

What we did
Our Design Team wanted to incorporate wood effect solid grade laminate (SGL) in a combination of 2 colours for each area to ensure they looked similar. We installed duct panelling to cover the toilet cisterns and piping which make the cubicles look clean and tidy, and added button flush systems. The vanity unit panels were fitted using the same material, with mirrors and white splash backs to protect the wall from water damage.
The cubicles for the showers were constructed in the same way as the toilet cubicles for consistency. The benching in the changing rooms is constructed from 25mm welded rigid frames with recycled plastic seating slats in black.
Following the successful completion of the project, we produced large boards with before and after photos of the project for a fundraising event which raised money for the client’s next project!
