Oundle School is a thriving boarding school situated in the picturesque village of Oundle, in Northamptonshire. The School commissioned Pinnacle to provide classroom and breakout furniture for their new build block, briefing us to ensure our furniture blended with the industrial style of the areas to be fitted out.
The scope of our works consisted of loose furniture in 11 classrooms, as well as breakout furniture and soft seating in a variety of areas. For the classroom furniture, we matched the industrial, natural feel with our Form range. The Form chairs have a contoured beech seat with an extremely durable grey metal frame, which has a structural guarantee of 25 years. They are stackable and easily hung on tables to facilitate cleaning. The matching tables encouraged the industrial feel and fitted in with the understated classroom design with the sliding whiteboards and large interactive screens. We also supplied the teacher’s desks, and operator chairs in fabric to suit the school’s colour scheme.
We supplied soft seating in a couple of areas for students to have a bit of downtime between lessons or to study in a relaxed environment. The sofas chosen were supplied in a vibrant aqua shade, introducing a bright contrast to the pared back concrete walls. These continued the industrial look with slim metal legs, and were paired with trumpet base tables.
Pinnacle used our Feast Metal range for the first time at Oundle, which was very exciting! Our extremely popular Feast range has been expanded to include options with metal frames. We installed wooden Feast benches with distressed metal legs in the open walkways at Oundle School, accentuating the rustic look of bare concrete, paving slabs and glass.
Keep an eye out for the Feast Metal range being launched on the website soon!
