Pinnacle worked closely with Weydon School and the architect to complete their third major project for the third year running. Over the summer holidays, the Pinnacle team spent a lot of time on site ensuring the creation of the two science laboratories and the prep room went smoothly and was ready for the student’s return in September.
Following the school’s colours as per the previous project in the Creative Block, the design process was relatively simple in terms of a colour scheme. The EN high back chairs that were chosen tie in with the furniture in previous phases, with an equal mix of grey and purple. These chairs are high quality and robust, ensuring longevity of the furniture.
The capacity storage range chosen for the laboratories was also themed with purple doors and grey décor panels, which added colour to the classroom along with the chairs. The labs were kept modern and clean looking, with pale vinyl floors and a pale grey speckle Trespa worktop, which is resistant to chemicals and scratches, ensuring the work surface looks good for years to come.
We also supplied services such as sinks and taps, gas taps, bench mounted power sockets and fume cupboards.
The school was pleased with their next new learning area, and stated that they “make learning more fun”. We hope to continue working with the school in the future as a trusted partner.
