In November 2020, the Department for Education (DfE) launched a new framework for furniture. Following consultation and extensive research with the construction industry and FFE consultants for education, the DfE have identified a key list of fitted and loose furniture products that captures a significant element of school furniture purchasing across the whole of England. The framework helps schools, academy trusts and construction companies to achieve a fast route to market that is OJEU compliant, cost effective and with products that have been selected and endorsed by the DfE.
