FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association) – Established over 65 years ago, the Furniture Industry Research Association is the UK’s largest furniture association and the only organisation that provides support to the whole furniture supply chain.  Being a part of FIRA enables Pinnacle to ensure that our products are safe, legal and fit for purpose by keeping up to date with changes to standards and regulation.  It also allows Pinnacle to communicate our views through FIRA to ensure our voice is heard well within government, standards committees and other forums that affect the industry.

IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) – Founded in 1945, and with more than 46,000 members, IOSH is the world’s largest health and safety professional membership organisation.  IOSH are the voice of the profession, campaigning on issues that affect millions of workers.  They set standards and support, develop and connect with members such as Pinnacle with resources, guidance, events and training.

SafeContractor –  The SafeContractor scheme provides a health and safety audit service for contractors such as Pinnacle who want to reassure their clients that health and safety is being handled correctly and sufficiently on their sites. Their qualified auditors review health and safety policies, procedures and documentation, taking into consideration the trade, industry sector and business size.

SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) – The course provides supervisors with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, as well as their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It will highlight the requirement to promote Health & Safety to supervise effectively.  This course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group UKCG as the standard training for all Site Managers working on UKCG sites

CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) –  CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.  The Scheme keeps a database of people working in construction who have achieved or are committed to achieving a recognised construction related qualification.

ISO 9001 Quality Management – ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

ISO 14001 Environmental Management – The ISO 14001 standard specifies a process for the control and the continuous improvement of an organisation’s environmental performance. The management tool enables an organisation to identify and control the environmental impact of its activities, products and services; to continuously improve its environmental performance; and, to implement a systematic approach to set and achieve environmental objectives and targets.
