CIF Bid Assistance
It’s inevitable that over time the condition of a building will deteriorate. A Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) can help towards the cost of restoring an Academy or Sixth Form College. Pinnacle Furniture have the expertise to manage the CIF bidding process for you, from designing and costing the project to creating the proposal documentation.
What is a CIF?
The Condition Improvement Fund is capital funding given by the Education Funding Agency (EFA) in order to make improvements to your Academy or Sixth Form College, keeping them safe and in good working order.
In addition, a CIF could also be provided to help to extend a College or Academy if the institution is rated ‘outstanding’ or ‘good’ by Ofsted.
The process from start to finish has many elements to it and can become quite time consuming. Furthermore, the EFA have a strict deadline for applications which is usually in December, so it’s important to begin the process in good time. Not all bids are successful, however you can increase your chances of the CIF bid being approved by making sure the application is submitted with well-written proposal documentation.
